Non-Profit Status:

Deaf and Hearing Services (DHS), a division of The Deaf Service Center of Lake & Sumter Counties, Inc. (DSC), is a 501(c)(3) non-profit resource center, which provides support and services for the 42,000 Deaf and Hear-of-Hearing individuals who live and work in Lake and Sumter Counties, FL.

DSC was awarded non-profit status as a 501(c)(3) entity by the federal government.  DSC is a United Way agency and a member of the Deaf Service Centers Association of Florida.
