Deaf and Hearing Services of Lake and Sumter Counties can provide a variety of products to assist in the daily lives of persons who are Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, and Speech-Impaired.
Visit our Demonstration Center to see a variety of products, how they work, and what works for you. We offer TTYs, specialized telephone equipment, assistive listening devices, alarm clocks, smoke alarms, and more. Items may be purchased here or elsewhere.
As a federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit, any money earned from the sale of assistive listening devices and other equipment is used to underwrite the cost of DHS programs and services, which help the 43,000 Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals who live and work in Lake and Sumter Counties.
