Classes and Training

Deaf & Hearing Services offers classes in Communication (American Sign Language,  Speechreading,  Interpreter Training / Mentoring)  and Job Skills  (life skills management,  computers, and local employers with whom we have developed work programs).

• Small groups  (4 - 12 people)

Sign Language Classes

Classes usually run 6 weeks then advance to the next level.

• Basic Manual Communication (sign language)
• American Sign Language (as foreign/second language)
• Interpreter Training
• Mentorship for Interpreter Practitioners
