Services
Hear Again: A
hearing aid assistance program in which we’ve arranged with local hearing clinics to send financially needy clients to be fitted with refurbished hearing aid devices at little or no cost to them. Our clients complete an application and, based on their income, we determine their ability to pay a small percentage of the cost or none at all. We cover the remainder of the cost.

Interpreting Services
We have many sign language interpreters who contract with us to offer these services to those in need. Our interpreters are varied in their areas of expertise – with some focusing on American Sign Language, while others focus on Signing Exact English, or Pidgen Signed English. We are able to pair up our Deaf clients with the interpreter who best fits their communication style needs.
Classes We are currently offering Beginner's 1 sign language classes to the public. The charge for this class is $70 including all materials. The classes run 2 hours once a week for 6 weeks.
Telecommunication Assistance Working in partnership with Florida Telecommunications Relay, we are able to evaluate our clients’ communications needs and provide them with specialized telephone equipment at no charge to them. After determining their needs, we individually train each client in the use of their new equipment and are available to answer questions or for further instruction once they begin using it in their home.
Client Assistance Programsis as varied as our clients. We often help clients understand basic written communication and contact their service providers for clarity. This ranges from assisting with setting up doctors’ appointments, helping them understand bills from utilities and television providers, to money management and assistance in finding the proper organizations to meet their every day needs.
